    Steve Isaac

This being my music page, one thing needs to be clear. I was in a band or three between the ages of 15 and 27. I played Electric guitar and sang. I wrote songs...

At 27, the band I was in broke up and I took up GOLF with a passion. For the next 23 years I picked up my guitar maybe 5 times. I played golf, worked 3rd shift at a commercial printing plant, slept, and had an amazing cat for a companion, named Cheetah.

At age 32 I married my (first and current) wife and slowly but surely my golf obsession waned and I took my fascination for internet virtual reality in to the Massively Multiplayer Roleplaying game on the net called Ultima Online, and then, eventually, Everquest.  I still have dreams about these virtual worlds...

At age 45 I left my hometown of Richardson Tx (Dallas suburb) and moved to St Petersburg, FL.

At age 50, one day, my guitars were stolen and feeling that I could NOT live without a guitar in the house, I purchased an inexpensive Martin Acoustic guitar and began playing again. Singing again. I fell back in love with music and singing.

I began to frequent the open mic at the Hideaway Cafe in St Pete. Still working 3rd shift, it was hard to sing just after waking up... It wasn't until about age 55 that I was able to move to day shift at work and begin playing in the evenings, and at many open mics before one day... The music director at a small bar and grille in St Pete called "The Bayboro Cafe" asked me if I could do 3 hours for them on a Friday night... This was the beginning of my musical career. It was also the time of the beginning of an amazing time in my life that will be covered in future blogs! Thanks for coming this far with me. Follow me in a bit deeper, it's crazy good!
